I turn 14 next month and I am wondering in advance for next summer what jobs I can get in New Jersey . Also what are the limits for hours for 14 y/o & would i be able to work overtime at 24hr open places (haha i want to make as much money possible to buy a dslr) ? More specifically would i be able to work at Dunkin Donuts, Wendy’s, Pet Smart, Pathmark, or little food mini marts ?

I remember when I was in College that I had to have a part time job or a well paying Summer job to pay for the College term.

My question is (Because of the Recession) what do students do for spare cash these days. I can only imagine how hard it is for them to get a job. Do they have to take out big loans or even resort to illegal means to get money?

€5000 awful fees, Masters are expensive anyway. By right they should pay ye for them because ye do a thesis at the end of the year and that would benefit the general public.
Sounds tough FMD. there is a graduate jobs program for unemployed graduates. You do 30-39 hours and get the same as Dole for 6 months work experience. I could not believe it when I saw it.

I know a few graduates looking for jobs and they say it is impossible.
P&R you really have it in for the poor students. Shure if you got a bottle of wine in a flat and a few drinks while ye were out the night would not cost you much if you add it all up.

Anyway I think Masters are very expensive. They can be 10 K to do.
I knew some people in college who used to get grand grants and spend it on drink. But most of them in my college studied hard, especially in the last two years. I cannot say I was ever privileged enough to get a grant. All my social money was acquired during long Summer hours or part time jobs. By forth year going out entailed just a few pints during the week.

Im here in New York till the end of July && Im looking for a Summer Job. I’m looking for something cool like working in the mall. Is there any clothing stores that will allow 16 year old work? ex- Aeropostale, American Eagle, Abercrombie?

I have two daughters 13 & 14 & I want them to work summer jobs.

I’m looking for a job this summer & everywhere I look, you have to be 16+. Any one hear of any places I should look into?
