With jobs becoming scarces, is it still possible for college freshman’s and sophomore’s to get a good paying job or internship over the summer to enhance ones skills or to gain experience such as in accounting, finance, etc?

I am currently finishing my senior year of high school and will be attending college in the fall. I am looking for a job during this upcoming summer. I am willing to work outside, in an office, or pretty much do anything. I am very intellectualy stimulated person, so something involving political science or finance would be great.

I’m an Environmental and Resources Economics and Finance/Accounting Double Major. Where can I look for good summer jobs or internships? Thanks.

I’m a 2nd year at the University of Virginia, Econ/Psychology double major. Does anyone know of summer internship offers that I could apply for? I’m particularly interested in marketing/sales, finance, and accounting.
